New Seychelles coach Rodney Choisy has included uncapped Romeo Barra and Darrel Damoo in his squad for his first match in charge as the team flew out on Tuesday for Friday’s African Nations Cup qualifier against Libya.

Bertrand Esther of St Louis and The Lions’ Rashim Padayachy make a return to the team which feature players from only six of the 12 first division sides and has no players from outside the country.

Group E also features South Africa and Nigeria.

St Louis provide seven players while league leaders Côte d’Or have only two in the squad.

After the game against Libya, which takes place in Cairo because of security issues in the north African country, the Seychelles will head off to South Africa for the Cosafa Castle Cup which kicks off on June 25.

Choisy may not travel with the side to South Africa because of work commitments.
