Happy Hearts coach Gilbert Kamanga collapsed and died during an African Cup of Nations U20 match at the Heroes Stadium on Sunday .

 

The  32 year coach who was in charge of the FAZ Division one side  died at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka upon arrival  following a heart attack

The young coach collapsed at Heroes Stadium on Sunday while watching the second game between Egypt and Mali at the ongoing tournament .

“My boy was just fine during the day and went to watch the games with his friends at Heroes Stadium. But while there, he lost consciousness and collapsed,” his father is quoted as saying.

He was instrumental in narturing  AFCON 2012 winners  Evans Kangwa and Saith Sakala

He will be laid to rest on Thursday, March 2 at Leopards Hill Memorial Park.
