Morocco coach Herve Renard has praised “realistic” Indomitable Lions after the Atlas Lions lost 1-0 to the Cameroonians in 2019 Afcon qualifying group B match at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo , Yaoundé Saturday.

Vincent Aboubakar’s 28th minute strike separated the two sides.

“We have been away throughout the first period. The Lions were realistic,” the two-time Afcon winner said after the match.

He added: “Cameroon has a strong attack with players like Benjamin Moukandjo, Christian Bassogog and Vincent Aboubakar.”

His equal opposite Hugo Broos, who lead his team to the Gabon 2017 glory singled out his two new call ups for a good performance.

“I enjoyed the performance of Anguissa and Boumal Olivier,” Hugo said.

He is concerned about injured Oyongo Bitolo, “Oyongo is seriously injured with torn tendon. He could be out for seven months.”

Cameroon shifts focus to the FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia, which kicks-offs off from 11th to 2nd July.
