Egypt coach Javier Aguirre has unveiled the Pharaohs 23-man list for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Liverpool talisman Mohammed Salah headlines the host nation’s team alongside Mohamed Elneny and Ahmed Hegazi, who ply their trade in England for Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion, respectively.
The record time winners of the tournament with be looking to add to their seven Afcon titles which they last won in 2010.
Aguirre’s side are scheduled to prepare for the Afcon with two friendlies against Tanzania on June 13 and Guinea on June 16.
Egypt who are Group A alongside DR Congo Uganda and Zimbabwe begin their Afcon campaign with a tie against Zimbabweans on Friday 21 June 2019. Kick off is at 23:00 East African Time.
