Al Ahly have today confirmed the appointment of former Sundowns boss Pitso Mosimane as its new head coach.
Ahly announced the arrival of the man known as Jingles on its social media platform, “Welcome our new coach Mosimane with us. We wait for more Championships with you,” read a statement
Mosimane handed in a resignation letter ahead of his move to take over as head coach of Egyptian Club Al Ahly.
Mosimane, is regarded as one of the most successful managers in South African football after delivering his fifth South African championship with Sundowns last month.
Mosimane led Sundowns to their first CAF Champions League crown in 2016 in which the team was named club of the year.
