Al-Ahly club scored three goals to stroll past its opponent, Vita Club, in the match that was held on Tuesday afternoon at the Al-Shuhada Stadium in the Congo, in the fourth round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly started the match strongly and possessed the ball to take control of the tie early in the influential areas in the defense of the Vita Club in the 6th minute, scoring the first goal that bore the signature of Mohamed Sharif.
Sharif added the second goal in the 19th minute before Taher Mohamed Taher finished the hat-trick in the 78th minute.
With this victory, Al-Ahly raised its points tally to 7 in second place in Group A which is led by Simba of Tanzania with 10 points, after its victory over the Sudanese Al-Merrikh.
Vita Club fell to third place with 4 points while Al Merrikh is fourth with one point.
