A big battle awaits Al Ahly in Tanzania as they prepare to face Simba SC in a mouthwatering encounter in the CAF Champions League fixture on Tuesday.
The Egyptian are expected to conduct its main training session at 3 pm today, Monday, at Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, which is the stadium that hosts the match.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly has been training at Jimkhana Stadium in Dar es Salaam since his arrival in Tanzania.
Al-Ahly is preparing for a strong confrontation against the Tanzanian team, Simba, at 3 pm on Tuesday, in the second round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly head of medical staff, Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla prepared a special medical program for the players to adapt to the high levels of humidity and the very hot weather ahead of facing Simba SC of Tanzania.
“The medical staff prepared this program to the players to adapt to the weather here in Tanzania, but with the full abiding by the precautionary measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic.”
“We advised the coaching staff that the players must be exposed to the sun outside of their rooms ahead of the game, in order to adapt with the weather.”
“The players will not adapt to this very hot weather if they kept leaving their rooms only to attend the training sessions.”
“The coaching staff let the players stay outside of their rooms for several hours in the sun, as this will help them more to adapt to the high levels of humidity and the very hot weather before our match against Simba SC,” he said.
