Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has named his squad for their clash against Raja Casablanca in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The Red Devils had a difficult start in the Champions League this season, earning qualification to the quarter-finals in their final group game against Sudan’s Al Hilal.
The draw revealed that Al Ahly will meet Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in the quarter-finals, with the first leg set to take place on Saturday.
Raja, on the other hand, advanced to the quarter-finals after dominating their group with five wins and just one defeat, earning 15 points in the process.
Ahead of the game, Pitso Mosimane revealed his squad that is set to take on Raja at the Al Salam Stadium with the South African coach handed a double boost in his options.
Mohamed Hany returned to the squad after his injury against Sudan’s Al Merrikh in the tournament’s group stages.
Veteran winger Walid Soliman was also included by Mosimane as the 37-year-old’s last appearance came against Al Hilal in the FIFA Club World Cup’s third-place decider back in February.
