Al ahly’s league leading scorer Malick Evouna has been ruled out of action for three weeks after sustaining an injury in a 3-2 loss to Al Masry SC last night.

This means,the Gabonese striker will not be available for selection when Joel’s charges travel to Zambia for the 2016 CAF Champions league group A opener against Zesco United this weekend.

Evouna’s career in Egypt has been overshadowed by a series of injuries and was forced out of the pitch in the first half last night,replaced by Ghanaian striker John Antwi.

The former Wydad Casablanca player and Botola golden boot winner has scored 13 goals in the 2015-16 Egyptian Premiere league season,3 goals less Hossama Salama’s 16 goals and one adrift the second league leading scorer Nana Poku.
