Sudan champions Al Hilal edged visiting Gor Mahia of Kenya 1-0 in a friendly played Wednesday 18th in Khartoum.
The win from a 22nd minute strike, was a sweet revenge for the hosts who lost to the Kenyan giants by a similar margin in a 2016 build up in Port Sudan.
Gor return today to begin training for Kenyan Premier League curtain raiser (DSTV Super Cup) against Tusker FC on January 29th.
The team will then leave for Uganda for another cross-border warm-up against Onduparaka FC early February.
