The Algerian team of home based players have failed to qualify to the 2018 African Nations Championship in Kenya after loosing to Libya 3-2 on aggregate.
Libya went into the second leg with advantage after upsetting Algeria 2-1 in their own backyard.
The 2nd leg was played on Friday and both sides shared the spoils at 1-1.
Sofiane Bandebka scored for the Algeria in the 21 minutes before Libya restored parity to dash the hopes of the fenex, of making to the Championship in Kenya.
