Harambee Stars striker Allan Wanga could join PSL side Bidvest Wits in June after he declined to extend his contract which expires in May at Sudan side Al Mereikh.
Wanga who has been in red hot form since joining from Kenyan side AFC Leopards alluded to the fact that he wanted a better move but had not yet made up his mind on the way forward.
“I Have been happy at Sudan but its important to note that as a footballer you have to harbour big dreams. My agent is currently talking to Bidvest Wits who have expressed their interest getting my services “Wanga told Soka25east.com
“Two months to go, I will be done here.” Wanga posted on his official Facebook account.
His agent Basil Manousakis has confirmed that talks are at an advanced stage.
“Wits are really interested in Wanga and actually wanted to bring him in January but El Merreikh wanted $350,000 and we therefore opted to wait for his contract to lapse in June”.
“Wanga is doing very well in Sudan and Wits are monitoring his progress. We are in negotiations and if all goes well he will be a Wits players in June,” he concluded.
