Sources intimate that Nandwa failed to turn up for training on the first day after the team was named recently,prompting Amrouche to shove him aside.But in a quick rejoinder the former Leopards coach claims he had personal pressing issues to attend to,which required immediate attention hence his absence from Stars’ assembly.
“I have been a dedicated servant of this country and a loyal assistant to Amrouche.A sixth sense tells me there is more to this than meets the eye”,lamented the tactician to soka25East.com.
The shocking development comes barely a week before Kenya host island nation the Comoros in an Afcon preliminary first round qualifier.
Nandwa previously doubled up as coach of AFC Leopards before he was sacked,a move that elated club diehards who loathed his divided loyalties.
