South Africa were held to a goalless draw by Angola in an international friendly played on Tuesday at Buffalo City Stadium in East London.

It was Angola who first found their rythm forcing goalkeeper Dareen Keet to pull early saves.

South Africa, though got into the game but almost conceded a goal.
Langerman tried to lob over a Angola attacker, but the ball bounced back off the body of the striker, and Dareen Keet had to pull off a save in 20th minute.

Bafana were playing square balls and back passes, were very slow when attacking, compared to the quick breaks of Angola.

Coetzee who looked a bit out of sorts, lost ball twice in the midfield, and Angola almost capitalised.

Phakamani Mahlambi played three raking passes that let in Singh but he was slow to react to one, as defender robbed him of ball once and he was squaring up to shoot.

After the break, Da gama made for changes, bringing on Keegan Dolly and Thulani Serero among them, and the quartet improved Bafana display.

Percy Tau seemed the most dangerous, but the defense of Angola made rubbish his attempt in the 64th minute.

Bafana Bafana kept struggling to get second victory after a 3-1 win over Guinea Bissau five days earlier.

Entering into the 70th minute, both sides now approached the game in a slow pace, looking tired.
