Calulo based Recreativo do Libolo on Saturday 10th October defended the Angolan National Football league Champions(Girabola)
Recreativo tied on 60 points same as rivals luanda based Primero de Augosto.Libolo were held to a goalless draw by Academica do Lobito while the other title chaser Primero beat Recreativo da Caala 2-1.
The Angolan top tier the Girabola uses the head to head record and with Lobito winning against Primero with a draw,
Libolo beat Primero 3-2 at home and drew 1-1 away at Luanda.
they automatically becomes the champions and Angola’s sole representative in the 2016 CAF Champions league
This is their fourth win in five years and they have successfully defended the title
The other Angolan representative in the CAF Confederations Cup will be determined when the Angolan Cup final pitting Sagrada Esperanca takes on Bravos do Maquis.
