Football Association of Zambia President Andrew “Nganga” Kamanga has responded to former FAZ vice President Borniface Mwamelo’s allegations that Football house did not follow procedure in engaging Expatriate coach.

Mr mwamelo told the Post newspaper that FAZ had mislead it self and wasted resources that it could have served had in inquired before hand.

“They misled themselves or they were too eager. FAZ started at the end of the process instead of going step by step. If they had bothered to consult, probably they would have been told to hold on until we have clearance,” Mwamelo said.

In response Kamanga told Soka25east.com that the Association had followed the required procedure and that Mwamelo only commented on a matter he was not well informed about.

Kamanga further stated that the Association has not announced the new Coach only because its is still a preserve of the Government.

“He is not privy to the details. We followed the procedure as per GRZ guidance. We conducted interviews and GRZ has the final say on payment of the foreign coach. In any case we did not announce the engagement of the new coach as that is still the preserve of GRZ”. He said

“I therefore find it difficult to appreciate the comments he has made”.he further added.
