Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah has hinted at a return of Pescara midfielder Sulley Muntari and Las Palma’s Kevin Prince Boateng back to the national team.
The 56 year old tactician who expelled the duo from the 2014 World Cup in Brazil following an outburst says he has forgiven them and holds no grudge against them.
“I have worked in Ghana for years and people should know my character by now,I do not hold grudges, If Sulley and Boateng are playing well in Europe like any other Ghanaian, they will be considered for a call-up since I always want the best for Ghana.”
The former Al Khartoum manager was speaking during his official unveiling to the press after signing a 2 year contract with the national team.
Appiah will begin his second reign with the Black Stars with a match against Ethiopia in an AFCON 2019 qualifier on June 11th before facing Mexico and USA in international friendlies lined up by the Ghanaian football association.
