APR FC have let go Tunisian gaffer Nazir Khanfir after seeing through his six-month contract.
Nazir took over the reigns at the Kigali giants in March from interim Coach Emmanuel Rubona who was warming the hot seat after Serbian Dosan Suljagic was shown the door.
Rubona who was promoted from APR Academy was redeployed as Nazir’s assistant in the new order.
Despite bowing out of the CAF Champions League in the 1/16th round in the hands of Yanga SC of Tanzania, the 52-year old managed to steady the ship to back to back league titles warding off stiff challenge from arch rivals Rayon Sports.
The army outfit were last weekend crowned the 2016 Azam Rwanda Premier League champions for a record 16th time.
A week bofore joining APR in March, Nazir had quit as Stade Gabesien Head Coach mutually. He was in charge of Tunisia junior side in the U23 Nations Cup in Senegal a year earlier.
