Rwanda giants APR continued with their impressive form with a 1-0 win over Djibouti Telecom on Wednesday evening in the ongoing Cecafa Kagame cup in Kigali,Rwanda.
Emery Bayisenge sublime freekick in the 21st minute gave APR the solitary goal that they hold on for the entire 90 minutes picking up another important win and one foot in the quarter final.
APR is yet to concede a goal at the regional competition that they have won thrice in 2004, 2007 and 2010 when it was hosted in Kigali on all occasions.The reigning Rwandan champions go top of the table standings in Group B but are tied on six points with Uganda’s KCCA which has played three games so far.
Telecom and Atletico are tied on three points while Kenya’s Gor Mahia is placed at the bottom of the log with no point from two matches. The top three sides will qualify for the quarterfinal
