APR FC were officially crowned the 2015/16 Azam Rwanda Premier League Champions on Sunday evening at  Stade de Kigali.

The ‘coronation ‘ceremony happened immediately after their match against AS Kigali which they lost 1-2.

APR climaxed the season with 67 points in 30 matches. They won 21 matches, lost five and drew four scored 43 goals and conceded 18 goals.

Top  scorers.

Mukura Victory striker Muhadjri  Hakizimana and Dany  Usengimana of Police FC were joint top scorers having scooped  tally of 16 goals each.

Relegated.

Rwamagana City and AS Muhanga have been relegated back to second division.Rwamagana City lost 1-2 to Marines FC in a match that could have seen then avoid relagation.AS Muhanga fate had already been sealed before their last match as with 21points they were rooted at the bottom of the table.

APR were rewarded Rwf. 10million prize money and will represent Rwanda at next year’s CAF Champions League
