Olunga’s request well documented and in video finally reached the Emirates with Manager Arsene Wenger reported to have received and read it.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has received a transfer request from Gor Mahia striker Michael Olunga.
In the video, Olunga claims to be the best player in Kenya after scoring 38 goals in all competitions so far that season.
The 21-year-old forward had five goals in nine appearances for the Kenya national side and states that he’s always dreamed of playing for the Gunners.
Olunga, who promises to repay Wenger if the French boss decides to sign him, plays alongside Victor Wanyama for Kenya.
Southampton midfielder Wanyama has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates where the immediate former Gor Mahia danger man has longed to join.
Olunga is currently in negotiations with Swedish club Djurgarden’s after he impressed by scoring two goals in the pre season training. It’s reported that Olunga’s agent rejected Djurgadens offer of Ksh 2 million and it’s reported negotiations are ongoing.
It’s however interesting to note what the Arsenal coach’s response to that request will be.
