Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has been granted permission by his club side Kayserispor to leave camp for Ghana to attend to family issues.
Gyan has been with the side for two weeks now preparing for the resumption of the Turkish league which went on break during the Christmas season.
The 33-year old is set to have regained his form under new manager Hikmet Karaman and is expected to play a key part in the team’s campaign in the second half of the season.
He will spend some time in Ghana to address recent family issues before rejoining Kayserispor.
Gyan is expected to join the team before the start of the second round of the Turkish League.
Asamoah Gyan has scored a goal in thirteen league appearances for Kayserispor.
