Asante Kotoko have signed signing of Patrick Asmah from Atalanta. The Ghana Premier League club announced on Saturday.
The 5 ft 8 inc left-back put pen to paper on a two-year deal following a successful medical examination on Thursday.
Asmah, 24 becomes the Porcupine Warriors’ third new arrival of the ongoing transfer window following the capture of defender Yusif Mubarik and midfielder Emmanuel Keyeke.
He has also had stints with US Avellino, US Salernitana and FK Senica.

Asmah was let go by Bergomi-based club Atalanta BC after his loan spell at FK Senica, where he netted three goals and bagged five assists in 25 games.
Asmah joined for Atalanta form lower-tier side Brong Ahafo United in 2016 after his terrific performance for Ghana U-20 male soccer team, Black Satellite at the 2015 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand.
