Asante Kotoko have confirmed to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) their engagement in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors made it known in a return letter, dated Wednesday, September 2, 2020, signed by CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah and sent to the FA.
The Porcupine Warriors were given the nod by the Football Governing body to represent the country by virtue of winning the Tier 1 of the Normalisation Committee Special Cup which was played last year.
Kotoko thumped Karela United FC 4-1 on penalties after 1-1 draw in regulation time at the Accra Sport Stadium.

The Miners were also selected following their slim 1-0 win over lower-tier side Nzema Kotoko in the Tier 2 of the Normalisation Committee Special Cup, staged at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The Obuasi-based football club’s journey in the competition last year but they were knocked out by Moroccan powerhouse, RS Berkane in the first round.
