Atlabara Football club won the South Sudanese league ,The South Sudanese Football Associatin Championships for a third time after beating Gazaala Wau FC 3-1 in Juba yesterday.
Red hot Peter Osman scored a brace with Leon Khamis scoring the third.Natalie Michael scored the consolation goal for Gazaala Wau.
The match which was scheduled to be played on wednesday was delayed due to the heavy traffic in air with the visiting team arriving in the capital Juba at 2pm on thurday.
With the win,Atlabara will meet Zambian league Champions Zesco United with the frst match schdeuled for 12th to 14th February 2016 at the Levi Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola and return leg within a fortnight in Juba,South Sudan
Zesco United have been patiently waiting for the identity of the South Sudan opposition after the Confederation of African Football paired it against South Sudan.It has been a see saw battle between Atlabara and Al Malakia with the latter winning the MTN Cup in April.
Last season winners were Al Malakia with the inaugural winner being Atlabara in 2013
