Kayserispor have captured Joseph Attahmah Laweh from Istanbul Basaksehir.
The 26-year-old is already experienced having played for Adana Demirspor and Caykur Rizespor (loan) penned a 3-year deal after completing a successful medical test on Tuesday.
Compatriots Asamoah Gyan and Bernard Mensah played for the Kayseri-based club in the past.
Hatayspor, Erzurum and Samsunspor were after the signature of the Ghanaian but he opted to join the Turkish soccer giants.
The 7-time capped Ghanaian spent last season on loan at Fatih Karagumruk where he helped them gained promotion to the Super Lig.
The defender cum midfielder was a product of Ghana Premier League side, Tema Youth.
Laweh was one of the standout performers for the Bronze-winning Ghana U-20 male soccer team, Black Satellites at the 2015 FIFA World Cup in Turkey.
