Versatile Highlander’s utility player Bruce Kangwa is set to join Tanzania league side Azam FC.
Azam are reported have agreed in principle with Highlanders over the transfer of the player, a move which is subject to Kangwa passing medicals with the Tanzania league side.
Kangwa traveled to Dar es Salaam yesterday with the deal expected to be formalized in the coming days as was confirmed by his agent George Deda.
“Azam have expressed their interest in signing Bruce Kagwa and Highlanders has given him the green light to engage and once everything is done including the medicals the deal shall be formalized in the course of the week”.Deda said.
He disclosed that monetary negotiations ranged from $15 000 to $25 000 as signing on fees per season.
The club is also offering a salary of between $3 000 and $5 000, $500 as winning bonus and a match day allowance.
Kangwa has blistering start to the Zimbabwe league season by being named the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League’s best player for the last three successive months.
He is also leading the Zimbabwe Premiership with seven goals going into the mid-season break.
