Kwese and Azam TV are in a fierce contest to secure the rights of the Kenya premier league .
The two companies were also in a similar fight in acquisition of the rights of the CECAFA senior challenge with the latter winning .
The CECAFA TV rights have been awarded to Azam Media despite Kwese TV tweeting earlier on their presence in Kenya to show live all the CECAFA senior challenge matches

KPL through its company KPL Ltd in an advert in the local dailies yesterday advertised for bidding tenders for media rights for all its events in 2018/19/20 .the events include KPL ,KPL top 8 and KPL awards .
Supersort cancelled its broadcast rights with KPL in mid season prompting the top tier management to get a temporary relief from Bamba .
Even though Bamba are still in the race for the bidding rights ,analysts have pointed out at Azam who are best place to beat the remaining companies .
