Nigerian winger, Azeez Shobowale has joined the long list of players that have announced that will not be with Sudan Premier League giants Al Hilal next season.
In a long post on his official Facebook page, the former Kano Pillars player bid farewell to his fans with a clear indication that he will not play his football again in Khartoum.
“Is very hard for me to say good bye to my darling team Hilal Sudan ?? but as a soldier you must be ready for the next battle,soldiers go soldiers come (but) barracks remain,”said Shobowale.
“I will always love and cherish the time and opportunity the team gave to me to show my talent with this alone the team deserve my respect.
“Thanks to the players, coaches, management and president for the support Goodbye Hilal good bye my dear fans.
Shobowole contract with Hilal was to end in this month but he did not want to renew it as he is linked with a move to unnamed North African club where he is likely to earn higher pay.
He scored a total of seven goals and won the league title in the previous with Al-Hilal in the 2017 season where he also won two titles with the club which includes the league and FA Cup known as Sudan Cup.
Soak25east understands that the player is owned by the club thousands of dollars as the Khartoum side has not paid some of its players salaries since January this year.
