Mali U-20 Coach, Baye Ba regrets the opportunities that his side squandered in their draw against Egypt at the 2017 U-20 Africa Cup of the Nations, Zambia.
Ba told the media that, the Eagles lost two points in a game that they had better opportunities.
“Given the opportunities, we lost two points in a game that we had the better opportunities”, said Ba.
However, he accepts the outcome considering that Egypt is a big football nation and the state of the field was apparently sleeperly after being washed by the rains.
The 2015 U-17 African Championship winning coach, concluded by saying ” We will take this draw and prepare seriously for the second game against Zambia. It will be tough game but we have ambitions and it will be a good result against the host”.
