Babatunde,Mayuka ditches European sides for North African giants

Super Eagles winger Micheal Babatunde has penned a three and half year contract with Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca after ditching Ukrane’s top tier and cash strapped Dnipro.

The 23 year old successfully passed medical test on Monday and will earn a staggering £1.8 m at the club.He Joins a fellow Nigerian Christian Osaguona.

The 2014 World Cup star has linked up with the team’s training base in Marrakech,keen to hit the ground and make a bold statement to critics for questioning his decision of joining an African team after spending most of his career in Europe.

Babatunde has played for Heartland FC in Nigeria before trekking to Ukraine to play his trade with Dnipro and short loan spell to Volyn Lutsk.

Zambian Striker Emmanuel Mayuka joined the reigning Egyptian Premier league Champions Zamalek on a 3 year deal from French second division side Metz.

The 2012 golden boot winner is set to arrive in Egypt on Sunday and get started with his new club.He was included in the squads for both domestic league and the 2016 CAF Champions league.

Mayuka has played for Kabwe Warriors,Israel outfit Macabi,Switzerland’s Young boys and Southampton in England.He was also loaned to Soachaux in France before moving to Metz permanently.
