South Africa coach Hugo Broos has named his final 23 man squad ahead of the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of to be hosted by Ivory Coast.
The Bafana Bafana squad has some interested inclusions mainly dominated by a local contigent from Mammelodi Sundowns with the likes of Ronwen Williams, Khuliso Mudau, Grant Kekana, Teboho Mokoena and Themba Zwane.
As expected Percy Tau of Al Ahly has been included to lead the charge in Ivory coast. However a notable absentee in the squad is Burnley Striker Lyle Foster who has withdrawn from the squad on medical grounds.
South Africa are in Group E alonsgide Tunisia, Mali and Namibia
