Ugandan midfielder Jimmy Bageya give Nairobi city stars some lifeline after netting a winners 15 minutes to the time beat KCB 1-0 to maintain their Premier League status at least for another week.

KCB needed to win the match to all but confirm their presence in the league next season while defeat for City Stars would have sent them down.

In another match, Chemelil boost their survival chances with a 1-1 draw against Western Stima. Fredrick Shimonyo scored the opening goal for the hosts in the first half before being sent off in the second half for an attempted elbowing of the referee after Chemelil were awarded a penalty in the second half. Samuel Olwande converted the penalty for the equalizer.
The match started on a high with Chemelil Sugar showing better intent to control the proceedings and get a goal . Meshack Karani missed a header in the 17th minute before Murage wasted from a one on one encounter in the 20th minute.
Nakuru All Stars are all but relegated after also battling to a 1-1 stalemate with Bandari at Afraha Stadium. Antony Kimani gave Bandari the lead in the 24th minute but Lwamba Bebeto netted a 75th minute equalizer for All Stars who remain bottom of the log on 19 points, 6 behind KCB who occupy the last survival spot and have a far superior goal difference with only two matches to go.
Nakuru based Kenyan Premier League side Nakuru AllStars has been send crushing out of the top tier bye after failing to pick maximum points at home from visiting Bandari FC.
Anthony Kimani put Bandari FC ahead early in the first half and it took the efforts of a hard fighting Lnamba Bebeto to equalize in the dying minutes, his penalty kick coming too little too late to save his team.
AllStars managed only three wins and lost a massive fifteen times. The draw with Bandari is their tenth of the season.
