Kenyan Premier League side Bandari FC has called for trials beginning Monday, as it begins preparations for 2018 with the future of several first team players in doubt.
The one-week trials are open for all players and footballers intrested in joining the club are required to show at the club’s training ground at Mbaraki Sports Club in Mombasa to try out with the side as indicated on the club official facebook page.
Speaking in a separate interview earlier today, the club coach Paul Nkata admitted that their below par performance in the just concluded season was due to a blunt attacking force.
“To be honest I must admit we did not perform well this season. We had set targets which we did not achieve largely because of injuries especially in our attack. Scoring goals was a major issue and it’s an area we have to strengthen,”Nkata told Futaa.com.
“Attack is our major area of concern and we are going to sign four strikers; two center-forwards and two wingers. I think we are okay in other areas,”he added.
The Kenya Ports Authority sponsored outfit finished 10th in the log with 43 points.
