Shariff Mohammed of Kenya Cup champions Bandari FC has scooped the Sportpesa/Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) player of the month award for the month of March.

During the month, Shariff guided Bandari’s defense to keep two clean sheets, while conceding only twice in four fixtures – they also won twice.
Mbugua came second with 26 points while Indeche and Aswani tied in 15 points at third spot.
The award tags along with Kshs 100,000 from the main sponsor Sportpesa, 43’ TV from co-sponsor LG electronics and a glittering gong engraved with his name.
His teammates will also have something to smile about as they received Kshs 50,000 to share.
