Baroka FC keeper nominated for 2017 FIFA Puskas award

South African Premier Soccer League side Baroka FC have made history once more.

Goal keeper Oscarine Masuluke has been nominated for the FIFA Puskas Award for 2017.

His bicycle kick in stoppage time against Orlando Pirates is among the top 3 finalists on the FIFA shortlist.

The list includes Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud’s scorpion kick against Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.

Completing the list is Deyna Venezuela Castellanos who scored from the halfway line directly following Cameroon’s stoppage-time equaliser to secure all three points for her country at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016.

Fans will be expected to vote online for the goal that will win the award
