Mustapha Barry might not be well-known in the Gambian football fraternity but the youngster is willing to go to the deepest end to make it in the football world.
The 21-year-old midfielder has admitted he would love to play in Kenyan Premier League.
Speaking to soka25east, Barry said he wants to rise to become one of the most dependable midfielders in the continent.
Playing abroad
“I would love to play in one of the top leagues in Africa.
“I am ready to play abroad. I used to watch the Kenyan football on Saturday and Sunday and have often dreamed of playing out there.It is good to test yourself at a higher level.
“South Africa would be a great place to go, too. There is nothing better than testing yourself aganist best defenders.Not even Ngolo Kante can out play me.
Barry is a Kariobangi Sharks FC fan, and added: “God has been very good to me these past two years.Dominating the double best player award at secondary and I am very thankful that I haven’t been bogged down by any serious injury since I left school.
“I also try to work hard and maintain focus so that I can be consistent in my performance,to eliminate the inestia and be the next king of the central pitch is my target,”he added.
