The Ethiopia Football Federation–EFF have unveiled Ashenafi Bekele as the new Walia Ibex head coach, today.

Bekele, who was appointed for the job at the end of last month was officially confirmed at Intercontinental hotel this afternoon.

The former Adama City manager, who helped them to survive relegation from the Ethiopia Premiere league, signed a 2 year contract with the EFF.

Bekele replaces Gebremedhin Haile, who was dismissed last year after falling out with the Ethiopia Football Federation (EFF). His first game in charge will be a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away to Sierra Leone in June this year.
