Bengo left out as KCCA Departs for Nkana Clash

Steven Bengo has been left out from the team’s 18 man squad that has departed the country  for the first leg of the Orange CAF champions League tie against Zambian Champions Nkana in Kitwe, Zambia after failing to recover from a tkCC Football teamhigh injury.

 Bengo,who also missed the two legs against Sudanese El Merikh in the preminary round due to the same injury, was dropped  alongside left back Rogers Aloro.

 The Uganda CAF ambassadors KCCA eliminated Sudanese giants El Merrick 3-2 over two legs whereas the Zambians recovered from a 2-0 loss to Mbabane Swallows in the first leg to win 5-2 in Kitwe.

KCCA did not enjoy their last visit to Nkana Red devils as they lost 4-0 to the same side in Zambia.

 The two sides  last met in the same competition in 1992 with the Zambian excelling on aggregate 6-0 , the Zambians  won 4-0 in Zambia and 2-1 in Kampala and now KCCA coach was part of that side that lost has a player.

 The squad departed out via Air Uganda.
