Zambia U20 National team head Coach Beston Chambeshi has  named a 30 member team that will go into residential prior to their European training camp.

Chambeshi has summoned Red Arrows striker Patrick ‘Dude’ Ngoma and United States of America based midfielder Peter Mashikini among other prospective inclusions in the final team.

The team excludes some foreign based players Patson Daka, Fashion Sakala, Mwape Mumba while Enock Mwepu is also missing as he is reportedly in Austria who will be expected to join the team before the actual competition.

The African champions leave for Spain on April, 23 2017 enroute to leaving for the FIFA U-20 Korea Republic World Cup.
Zambia is in Group C alongside Portugal, Costa Rica and Iran.

Chambeshi’s lads will open their account on May 21, 2017 against Portugal at the Jeju World Cup Stadium before taking on Iran three days.

Zambia will conclude its group matches with a tie against Costa Rica on May 27 at Cheonan Sports Complex.

Team manager Daniel Jere who released the names to Fazfootball.com said the team will be trimmed to 21 just before the tournament.

“The team will be reporting to camp on 12th April, 2017 for camping at Cool Breeze Lodge at 18:00 hours for local camping until the team leaves on 23rd April enroute to Korea for the World Cup” Jere said.
