The Malawian top tier league match between Nyasa Big Bullets and Azam Tigers that was marred by chaos could land the Blantyre giants into trouble.
The supporters of Nyasa Big Bullets invaded the pitch and manhandled the centre referee where they also invavded the pitch after the final whistle following a frustrating goalless draw with the minnows.
The supporters of the countrys biggest club were at pain after centre referee Andy Kuseli denied them what they believed was a genuine penalty with the Big Bullets players protesting before the referee changed the outcome of the match inside 3 minutes of added time
Malawi’s 2015 Super League champions Nyasa Big Bullets could be in trouble after their supporters invaded the pitch and manhandled a referee in charge of their game with Azam Tigers at Kamuzu stadium on Sunday afternoon.
During the match Azam Tigers were also denied a goal for a foul on Nyasa Big Bullets defender. Soon after the game, some Nyasa Big Bullets supporters invaded the pitch and wasted no time in attacking Kuseli .
This incidence comes barely a year after one of Malawi’s football fans, Godfrey Mwale, died last year when violence spilled over to the streets following a Super League match involving Premier Bet Wizards formerly known as Surestream fc and Red Lions.
Big Bullets later lost their only assured silver ware chase losing 0-1 to silver strikers and they now shift focus to defend their title where they trail leaders silver Strikers and are level on points with Mafco
