Ghana’s Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris has completed a loan move to Portuguese giants FC Porto from French Ligue 1 side Lorient.
Waris, 26, will join the 2004 UEFA Champions League winners till the end of the current season with the club having an option of making the permanent for Euros 6m.
Porto’s boss Sergio Conceicao is said to be a big fan of the Nike Academy graduate, who scored nineteen goals over two seasons for Lorient.
“I know his record in the French League. I appreciate his quality and that’s why he comes to try to help us,” Sergio said.
