Liberty Proffesionals star Latif ‘Atta’ Blessing won the Ghana Premier League Best Player for 2016 and Goal King of the year prizes during a ceremony held at Banquet Hall of State House in Accra on Friday.

Blessing,19, was recognised for his role in helping his team in his 22 appearance picking the award ahead of Medeana youngster Kwesi Donsu and Abdul Bashiru of Dreams FC.

In the best scorer category he was one goal better to beat Yayha Mohammed who has since joined Tanzanian giants Azam FC from Aduana Stars.

Wa All Stars mentor Enos Adipah won the Coach of the Season accolade, beating off competition from the rest of the coaches.

Hearts of Oaks defender Inusah Musah was declared the defender of the season with Richard Ofori of Wa All Stars scooping the Goalkeeper of the year award.

Inter Allies prodigy Abdul Halik Hudu  picked up the Young Player of the Season award after his wondeful performance for relegation candidates on the final day.

Best GFA male worker of the year – Emmanuel Newton Dasobri

Best GFA female worker of the year – Mrs. Joyce Asare
