Bongani Khumalo could turn out for Supersport United next season after joining the club on a two week trial,  Khumalo is training with Supersport United after Bidvest Wits decided against renewing his contract.

Khumalo 31 who had two previous spells with the Tswane based side struggled for game time at the Clever Boys during his tenure at the club when he  arrived amid  huge expectations two seasons ago.

The Former Bafana Bafana defender left South Africa for Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier league in 2010 after representing Bafana Bafana at the 2010 FiFa world cup on home soil

He made his return to the PSL in August 2015 to join Supersport United but he  had a short stint before re-uniting with former Supersport United coach Gavin Hunt at Sturrok Park based side six months later .

The Swaziland born defender won Absa Premier league title and Telkom knockout with the Clever boys.
