Borussia Dortmund have said they will not let go of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
The striker has attracted interest from a number of top clubs, but Dortmund sporting director,Michael Zorc has no desire to let go of Aubameyang after the deadline they gave him passed.
“We consider the transfer window closed. The timing [of it all] was decisive in the end,” Michael Zorc was quoted as saying by Guardian, on Tuesday.
Reports in Germany claim that Dortmund gave clubs a deadline with regards to an offer, with the Bundesliga outfit valuing the player at €70 million.
The Gabon international scored 31 league goals in 32 games last season.
Chelsea topped the list of clubs who were targeting the former African Player of the year.
