Extreme Sports Limited, the company behind Sportpesa Super 8 leagues and tournament, through their legal representatives K. N. Mburu Associats Advocates has served Football Kenya Federation (FKF) with a letter of intent to sue.

In the communique seen by Soka25east.com, Extreme Sports has cited among others; harassment, blackmail and lack of good will from FKF in calling for them to disband and threatening clubs and individuals involved in it’s competitions with lengthy bans for participating in “unsanctioned” leagues.

Extreme Sports has maintained they are not in competition with FKF and theirs is a complementary work to what the Kenyan federation is doing and they are within the FIFA laws.

They strongly take issue with fkf’s proposal for them to disband and channel the sponsorship money to Nairobi County, saying the opaque manner in which the branch operates is the sole reason they are unable to attract partners.

The letter is copied to among others; FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura, Sports Cabinet Secretary DR Hassan Wario.
