Coach Adel Amrouche sacked as Tanzania Taifa Stars coach after CAF Disciplinary committee banned him for 8 matches for his utterances on Morocco.
Amrouche made serious accusations, targeting Morocco’s Football Federation (FRMF) and claiming that African football is “manipulated by FRMF.”
“Currently, the FRMF is a confirmed power in the African football world, in the last match against Morocco, they forced us to play in the evening when we wanted to play in the early afternoon,” Amrouche claimed in a televised statement to an Algerian TV channel.
Following the decision by the CAF disciplinary committee to ban him for 8 games, the Tanzanian Football Federation have decided to part ways with Amrouche.
Tanzania lost their first Group Match 3-0 to Morocco and they still remain with 2 games against Zambia and DR Congo.
TFF have stated that Hemed Morocco will oversee the last two Group games of the Taifa Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations and will be assisted by Juma Mgunda
