KPL sides Zoo Kericho and Nakumatt have been reinstated back to the KPL by the Court of Appeal sitting in Nairobi
The ruling was delivered today morning at the court of appeal. this was after FKF appealed the decision by the High court to expelled the two clubs from the KPL
A KPL Governing Council meeting held on Friday 22 September, resolved to have the two ejected from the league, in obedience to the court order.
In the order, FKF was directed to abide by the agreement signed with KPL in September 2015, which stopped any changes in the composition of the league from 16 to 20
The court also termed the Club Licensing measures taken by the federation on KPL and NSL clubs earlier in the year null and void
It was joy and jubilation by the supporters and playing staffs of the two clubs which were on the brink of losing top flight status
KPL will now have to give fresh fixtures to accommodate the two teams .
