Brian Mandela Onyango has signed a two year contract with South African Premier League side Maritzburg United.
Confirming the good news to Soka25east.com, former Kenyan international Musa Otieno Otero who aided the move, said he is happy for the hardworking defender as he opens a new page in his professional career.
“Mandela has been consistent in his footballing career, he has shown that he is a true professional. The move to Meritzburg is a good one and we wish him well.” Musa said.
Mandela has been with Division One side Santos also of South Africa, on a three year deal which expired at the end of 2014/2015 season.
Meritzburg nicknamed The Team of Choice plays their home matches at the 12,000 capacity Harry Gwala Stadium.
