Botswana national team head coach Major David Bright was left with a painful taste following South Africa’s 2-0 defeat at Francistown Sport Complex on Saturday.
In a statement released by Botswana Football Federation this morning, days after his team imploded in a CHAN 2018 qualifier at home,the veteran tactician stated that the defeat was learning lesson for his charges.
“..The defeat to South Africa at the Francistown sports complex was painful..It was also an eye opener to his technical team,”reads the statement.
The coach went on and assured the fans that his boys will put a commendable display aganist the Cosafa region heavy weights in the return match.
“All is not lost as his team can still come back, if they correct the technical errors they had…in Francistown.”
Zebra will play the second leg of the Chan qualification game on Saturday 22 July at the Moruleng stadium as Bafana will now be hosts.
